Heaven and Hell all wrapped up in one!!

"Alright, keep the little beasts for all I care! Do what you want with them! [...] I'm through with all of you! I'll get even! Just wait! You'll be sorry, you fools! You... YOU IDIOTS!" ~ Cruella de Vil

Yes, I know that isn't a quote from Mary Poppins, but the ecard allows it!

Today was a wonderful day! Despite the snow from yesterday's storm, Fe and I were able to go outside twice! Gee made it outside with us for morning playtime. We started the day with a fun breakfast: M&M pancakes! OH BOY!! Of course, the two little darlings ate the M&Ms out of the pancakes and tossed the 'leftovers' on the floor. Then it was time for a short movie since it was still a little too cold to go outside (after all it was only 8 am). But.... 9 o'clock we were getting all bundled up for some fun snow time!!
We finally made it out about 20 minutes later. Fe and Gee trampled all through the yard, while super mommy shoveled the driveway (our drive fits five cars, I shoveled space for three)! We spent almost an hour playing! The kiddos were starting to lose steam! We made our way in and started lunch, chicken patty sandwiches, per request of Fe. Of course she then refused to eat it; she stuck to gold fish, a cheese stick, and a pickle. Gee was a champ eater, I swear the kid is about to grow a foot with his eating lately!

Then it was time to make our way up for nap/rest time (boy was I ready for a nap!) I tossed on Toy Story 2, Gee's current favorite movie, and the three of us cuddled up on Fe's bed. The both of them settled down and for a moment I really thought Fe was going to nap and I could too!! But nope, apparently she is DONE with naps. She hasn't napped in WELL over a week (that's not true, she has had car naps, but those don't really count). At least Gee fell asleep about half way through the movie. Fe wasn't going to nap,so that meant time for more activities. We are working on less TV time and more playtime. Fe was happy; this meant she got to play OUTSIDE again!

Outside, Round Two:
Crazy girl had just as much fun as the morning, maybe more! While shoveling the drive the past two days, I tossed a majority of the snow into the yard to make a little sled hill! I smoothed a nice sled path and even made snow stairs to help the kids get to the top of the "hill". Fe had a BLAST!
Then it was time to come in, and Fe began to WHINEEEEEE... UGGGGG, I should have known the day was going to go down hill from there. Gee woke up and was his normal pleasant... hahahaha, monster wake-up self. They fought over snacks, even though they had the EXACT SAME THING! They had moments where they were playing nicely together, but that changed just a fast into hitting and screaming. Who knows what or who triggered what?! I sure don't! But them Daddy came home and everything was right as rain again!

Auntie and her doggie came by for dinner (thankfully that went well, the kids were well behaved and ate good dinners) and mini ice cream cones with the kids. Then they left... and the kids were DEVASTATED!! "Auntie... I wannnnnnnnnt Auntie and doggggggggggie!!!" Major meltdown time meant it was time to head upstairs for wind-down time. Of course, they wanted to watch Toy Story, yet again. So, I grabbed the DVD and up we went. Then...

<------ Yup, this was me! D was getting his workout in (my sexy husband keeping himself that way!) while I was dealing with the maniacs! The kids had apparently decided to completely block me out and ignore me! All I wanted them to do was go potty, get a pull-up or new diaper, and change into pjs. Not a big request, right?? WRONG! I may have well asked them to do a round off back-hand-spring! AHHHHHHHH!!!! Screaming, crying, hiding under blankets (like I couldn't see them...), I was quickly losing my patients. Finally, after leaving them to cry in their room for about 5 min, I was able to get them into pjs. But there was NO wind-down movie at this point. They got books for quiet time. D was done with is workout and shower by this time... I quickly told him "Your turn! No movie! See you in an hour." Just long enough to right this entry!! BREATHE!

The day was definitely and good and bad day. But overall it was great. Bed-time is always tough after a good, fun day. It's just too much excitement that they don't want to forget! And no matter how much they drive me nuts, they will always be my wonderful children!

Thanks for reading!
Until next time,
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
I'm off to kiss Fe and Gee good night and to watch Duck Dynasty with D!
