Summer-time and sweatshirts
Mother Nature in New England is a funny thing; 40-50* with sweatshirts and jeans in the morning then 70-80+* with tank-tops and shorts in the afternoon!

Date night... Or day, is IMORTANT!
Remember to take time out of your day for yourself and just enjoy what is!
Find something you love and do more of it!
Find something you love and do more of it!
I have some pretty awesome kids,
but every so often my sanity and marriage needs to take an adult break from them. That is easier said than done/remembered.

BE YOURSELF! Re-Launch Time!
Here we go with my attempt at a blog re-launch. As much as I enjoy Mary Poppins and her words of wisdom, I mean really "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocios" really is the perfect word to "say when you have nothing to say". But then... if you have nothing to say, why blog?!

Heaven and Hell all wrapped up in one!!
"Alright, keep the little beasts for all I care! Do what you want with
them! [...] I'm through with
all of you! I'll get even! Just wait! You'll be sorry, you fools!
You... YOU IDIOTS!" ~ Cruella de Vil
Yes, I know that isn't a quote from Mary Poppins, but the ecard allows it!
Today was a wonderful day! Despite the snow from yesterday's storm, Fe and I were able to go outside twice! Gee made it outside with us for morning playtime. We started the day with a fun breakfast: M&M pancakes! OH BOY!! Of course, the two little darlings ate the M&Ms out of the pancakes and tossed the 'leftovers' on the floor. Then it was time for a short movie since it was still a little too cold to go outside (after all it was only 8 am). But.... 9 o'clock we were getting all bundled up for some fun snow time!!

Jack Frost and Mother Nature... fighting again!
"Speaking of weather, the other day when it was so cold, a friend of mine
went to buy some long underwear. The shopkeeper said to him,'How long
do you want it?' And my friend said, 'Well, from about September to
March.'" ~ Uncle Albert
This time of the year is a hard time, weather-wise, with two
little active children. We have a few really nice days of over 40 degree
weather and the snow is all most ALL gone; then WHAM, another snow storm and
too many consecutive days of less than 30 degree temperatures. I don’t take the
kids out if the weather is below 34. It’s just too cold for their little
bodies, no matter how much we bundle them up! I also find that the days we don’t
get outside they are much more insubordinate. It’s like they have completely
forgotten how to listen… to ANYTHING! This, of course, makes me just as nutty
as them!
Outside playtime is a very important part of our household. So
long as Mother Nature cooperates, we spend as much time as possible outside!

Pary Moppins, [far from] "practically perfect in every way."
Why the pen name?? One I love Mary Poppins, growing up my mother used to joke about how her daughters should have been named Mary Poppins... because we were "practically perfect!" Do I wish that I was magical like her? Of course! Who wouldn't want an endless carpet bag with anything and everything you might possibly need! I am NOT a nanny.
I am a mother of two wildly excited children.
